I Finished Timeless Album Before My Son’s Death – Davido. The Nigerian hip-hop star said he finished the timeless album before his son died. Ifeanyi, the first child of Davido with Chioma, was reported to die in the swimming pool on the 31st of October, 2022.
In an interview, the Assurance crooner told CNN that his fourth studio album was already completed with his team before the unfortunate incident of his son’s death. After it happened, I had to step back and think about what to do.
Davido and his wife, Chioma, mourned for their lost child for months, and they stayed aloof on social media until the singer announced the album, which was said to hit 1 million streams in 6 hours.
The 17-track album Timeless was his first in three years, after A Better Time in 2020. The album is currently topping Nigeria’s top album chart, UK Top Album Chart, and other 17 countries on Apple Music.
